Kendrick Lamar dropped a new song and music video last night. Fans were loving "Humble" and the accompanying video. The video has some pretty deep religious symbolism, but that wasn't what really got people talking about the new video. Kendrick openly celebrates women's natural beauty in his lyrics, including things like stretch marks. He raps:
I'm so fuckin' sick and tired of the Photoshop / Show me somethin' natural like afro on Richard Pryor /Show me somethin' natural like ass with some stretch marks /Still will take you down right on your mama's couch in Polo socks, ayy
Twitter went crazy for his ode to stretch marks, which are often a source of embarrassment for women. His fans, including actress Amandla Stenberg, took to social media to praise the rapper for the verse.
